We rented this place to host a wedding weekend of events. We loved it. There was something for everyone to enjoy at the mansion and it accommodated our needs to host a 60 person rehearsal dinner. We were glad everyone told us it was perfect. It was also very convenient as the wedding venue was on the property too. Not a complaint at all, but there needs to be more toilet paper especially in the only single bathroom on the main floor. We kept having to search for toilet paper. And, there were no extra garbage bags found. We went and bought more but the garbage filled up quickly with 30 people staying and eating there. That’s all.

This place was perfect for our family reunion! They have all of the kitchen items we needed ti cook for a big group. Every bedroom has its own bathroom which was awesome!
Plenty of games and plenty of room! The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus. The views were beautiful! Everyone in the group suggested doing this again. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice getaway and still close to downtown Gatlinburg!

Reservations, check-in and check-out were easy. We had 36 family members. The house made it easy for all to gather together and also had plenty of space for anyone to get away from it all for quiet time, either in a game room or the multiple balconies. The Kitchen had sufficient cookware and space for our food. The rooms were located around the cabin in a way that gave everyone the feel of a quiet space.
One adult guest is paraplegic and used the accessible bedroom and bathroom. Both the shower and toilet were accessible for him. We did bring his shower chair and toilet seat because of his specific needs and they fit easily into the bathroom. The bed was high and made transfers difficult. Having an elevator in the building allowed him to access all hame areas.
The cabin was clean and well maintained.
Recommendations for management - the hot water temp was very high, dangerous for children and also quickly moved to scalding in the kitchen. Also, we had a young child lock himself in a bedroom and we didn't have a tool to unlock it from the outside. We finally bent a tweezer open and used that. Had there been an emergency in the bedroom it could have been tragic. Guess we would have broken down the door.
Would recommend this location for anyone. My family loved the cabin.

We spent Thanksgiving 2022 at Sycamore Mansion. The accommodations were as noted in the pictures. Communications were timely and Check-in and check-out procedures were simple. The views were breath taking and the weather was absolutely beautiful during our stay. We came prepared with kitchen equipment. We didn't need any of it. The kitchen was impressively stocked to handle a large family from the pots & pans, utensils, crock pots, even coffee filters.. The cabinet & drawer labeling was a nice touch and convenient. We brought extra paper goods, trash bags and dish washing liquid which was expected. The owners and maintenance resources were very responsive. The only reason for above versus excellent were minor - several lady bugs found in the rooms and suggest maybe time to replace the living room couches. The group was impressed with ample room for 28 to 33 people to spread out and enough bedrooms, outdoor and entertainment space for everyone to retreat when needed. Loved that we had space for everyone to eat together for every meal. The entire group had positive input and would certainly recommend this cabin. Thank you for being apart of a new family tradition. We had a wonderful time!

Our group of 28 people rented Sycamore Mansion for 6 nights. We enjoyed our time together there. The kitchen was well equipped. We hired the delivery service for our food--wonderful experience and rightful choice. It was nice that everyone had their own room and bath. The shared rooms were great. Sycamore was the perfect place for our group to come together after site seeing during the day. There was plenty of parking and the fact that is was the last house on the street really helped. It was nice to have the elevator in the house. We would definitely recommend the Sycamore Mansion for your stay. One thing that would have been helpful would be having hangers in the closet. The owners were very quick to respond to problems that we encountered during our stay.

The Sycamore Mansion was the perfect home for our family reunion of 40 people. The house is spacious with lots of room for people to enjoy each other in different settings on the three levels, yet big enough that members of the family could get away from all the action if they chose. The room to get away was especially helpful, as we had a few family members who had to work remotely while at the the reunion.
We loved the huge dining room with plenty of space for all of us to be seated at one time. The kitchen is fantastic with all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed.
The view of the Great Smoky Mountains from the balconies is spectacular! The home's proximity to Great Smoky Mountain National Park is convenient. Our group particularly had fun swimming in the rapids in the Little Pigeon River very close to the mansion at Greenbrier Cove.
Barb was prompt and gracious as we made our reservations and followed up with her later on. The maintenance department responded to our call regarding the use of the theater room equipment promptly.
I will note two things that could be improved. The tables in the dining room need to be refinished. The finish is wearing off, and they do not look clean even when you wipe them clean with a cloth. The faucets in the kitchen do not turn off easily. We all finally found the trick to get them off, but it took a while.
I highly recommend this home to anyone needing space for a large group. The 14 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms was what sold us on renting the property.

There was a group of 19 and we have stayed at the Sycamore Mansion in 2018 and loved it so much we scheduled again for this year. Again a great experience. I understand a different cleaning crew had been hired and it certainly showed as it was very clean and spotless. All is needed to bring with you is your food and clothing as everything else is there for a large group for reunions, weddings or just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view. I would highly recommend booking with the Cabin Rental Store as Barb is a joy to work with and gives you all the information you need when you book. Also the mainteance guy was right there if you needed him for any repairs or something not working right. We simply love this cabin and hope to come back again some day. Book this cabin now. We loved it.

After a long pandemic break, we a party of 31 people ( office collegues & their familes), had a get together in this majestic Manison. It had everything we need. A huge kitchen with all the things you need, a huge dining area, beautiful bedrooms with everyroom having a stunning view, and arcade games to keep kids engaged and ofcourse the movie theatre..kids loved it..!! Its a bit pricey, but worth the quality of the amenities.

Our stay could not have been better. From the day we inquired, through the booking and all the way through check in/out Melanie and Trevor were responsive, accommodating and friendly. Our group had so much fun!! The house is stunning and even with a 30 guests no one ever felt cramped or had a lack of privacy. The kids were in heaven with all the arcade games and the adults with the hot tubs and pool table. Having an entrance to the park just down the road was super convenient and allowed for quicker hikes with the kiddos. We highly recommend the property or any that this company would have to offer as they are clean and well maintained! We can't wait to come back!

We brought our high school seniors to the Sycamore Mansion for their senior trip and it was wonderful! The cabin was beautiful and there were plenty of things for the kids to do! We did evening devotions at the fire pit and it was beautiful. It was really nice having a handicapped accessible room and an elevator because we had one person in our party who needed them.

Barb, Melanie, Trevor were all very helpful during booking prior to our stay and followed through with excellent customer service during our stay. We had 30 people with 30 different request during our stay that I filtered to the staff, and they accommodated us even at night. All my friends want to do the trip again. The location was close enough to stores and Gatlinburg to make it convenient, but far enough away to know you were in the woods. Pool table was level and in good shape. Golf games were so much fun. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking ware. Jacuzzi's were perfect temperature and clean. We did not understand theater most the trip, but got it working the last night, no complaints. The floor plan is great for reunions, retreats, and even weddings. I highly recommend this place. Thanks again for treating us like family.

The cabin was better than expected. During Covid we were asked not to be together for Thanksgiving but already booked and paid for the stay. We had 26 family members make it. We were able to be together but keep are distance. We were our mask all the time. It worked out great for different family members to do their own thing during the day. The cabin had enough to do to keep the kids busy and the adults being able to do their own thing. Can't say enough about the experience. It was the first time the family rented a cabin but we plan on doing it again.

I want to express our many thanks for a first class facility and Barb Adams for her help in making our trip a wonderful experience. While our group was reduced during this pandemic time, the facility was "perfect" for the group. I believe there may be a slight propane leak from the grill, the large outside doors to the elevators "stick" and did not open as they should. (these are not complaints, just calling your attention to keeping the Sycamore Mansion a first class facility). The property is everything that it is advertised to be and more. My group had an excellent time. The rooms were more than spacious, the beds slept almost better than my own bed, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed! Everything worked well for us! The only thing I can say was the noise level because of the road behind the cabin. All day and night you could hear the different types of loud mufflers going down the road. If I could have changed anything it would have only been that.

Our family loved the beautiful home! When we called saying we were missing gallon tea pitchers & griddles, they were promptly brought. When games did not work, a repair person was sent to fix. We couldn't use the elevator(which we could have used), but we did not call about this. We cooked every meal, so enjoyed the many pots & pans. WE DID MISS an electric can opener. We aren't too good at using a manual can opener, so I would strongly recommend an electric can opener. In one of the upstairs bedrooms, the curtain would fall when closing, but we dealt with that.

We had another great stay at Sycamore Mansion. This was our 3rd year in this cabin and absolutely love everything it has to offer. Ms. Barb and her staff are always very helpful and a quick to take care of any issues. However, there are somethings that need attention. The chairs and bar stools need to be tighten up or fixed. They are very wobbly. We missed the ice machine. We had 58 people in this cabin each day and need more ice that the fridge can provide. Even at 44 people, an ice machine works so much better. We look forward to future retreats at Sycamore.

There were 27 seniors at the Sycamore Mansion for 4 nights. We had a great time. So very nice to have all the things you need to be right at home. What a pleasure it is to work with Barb on selecting the right cabin. Sycamore Mansion is the perfect place to get away from all the hustle in the big cities. We had a slight problem with the two ice makers in the fridge. Neither was working, but maintenance brought us ice. I would suggest that the Small Freezer in the pantry be taken away and replace with a ice maker. Thank you so much for a great place for a big group to stay.

Our family loved the Sycamore Mansion! It had everything we needed to be close and share time with each other. The only thing we wished the mansion had was instructions for using the movie room and for connecting to the smart TVs in the mansion. Luckily, we had some tech savvy family that was able to help but we spent more time than necessary to figure things out. Other than that, we loved the mansion and would highly recommend (as long as you don't book when we want the mansion again)!

I've been to Cabins, but nothing like the Sycamore Mansion. Me and my guest really enjoyed this place. It was so relaxing that most of us didn't leave out. I will definitely book again with the cabin store. I love the no hassle check-in. Only 1 compliant and that is the music system had no directions and the theater had no remote to work the DVD. No battery pack for the Xbox and no controllers for the PlayStation. Everything else was awesome.

Another great retreat at the Sycamore Mansion. This was our second year to stay at SM and we absolutely love this place and everything that it has to offer my adults leaders and students. We had 50 total people this year and had plenty of room for everyone. I am looking forward to booking again for 2018. I wish the theatre room was a little more user friendly. We had to have the tech guy come out and work on some things to get it working properly and then still had issues getting the gaming systems to work.

ONLY ONE DOWNSIDE HIGHWAY WAS IN EARS DISTANCE WHEN SITTING ON THE BACK DECK....BUT YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING WHILE IN THE HOUSE.
SO MANY THINGS TO DO, HIKING, ZIP LINING, DOLLYWOOD, SHOPPING, PLAYING GAMES. THEY'RE IN PROCESS OF BUILDING FIRE PIT TOO! WE HAD A GREAT TIME.!

Sycamore Mansion was the best place to have our 2017 women on purpose retreat...we had about 30 women in the home and it more than met our needs...this home is fully stocked with everything to make you feel right at home. There was one problem, we couldn't get the movie theater to work, so we didn't get a chance to watch movies. I called it in but no one came out. But I will still recommend this place to all my family and friends...And thanks to our sales rep. Mrs. Barbara from the cabin rental...she took very good care of us...

We had ~40 people stay at the Sycamore Mansion and had a fantastic time. The views were phenomenal and we spent a great deal of time sitting on the beautiful deck enjoying the Great Smoky Mountains. Particularly for the affordable price, we all loved our week there.
The only reason I am not giving this amazing property a higher rating is for a few small issues that I bet are simply a result of it being a relatively new property still:
1. The house is gorgeous, but noise travels easily through the wood. For groups that don't all keep the same schedule, I would recommend equipping each of the room with a box fan to help with white noise. We had several people go out and buy a box fan in order to do just that.
2. There was a mixup with the cleaning crew evidently and several of the beds were made -- but without sheets. We had to call housekeeping to come back once we realized it (but unfortunately a few people slept without sheets the first night because we didn't realize how many beds were affected).
3. The movie theater is such a cool amenity, but there were some technical issues we had to work out with the help of some tech-savvier members of our group. For instance, neither of the consoles worked (PS4 we never got working), and the BluRay player was skipping the videos. The XBox in particular couldn't play movies until we set up a hot spot with a phone (because the router wasn't strong enough to have the XBox connect to wifi directly) and downloaded the app that allowed it to play videos. We got it all worked out a few days in, but in the future we recommend checking the amenities before each stay (some of the rooms' TVs didn't work, also) to ensure they're functioning properly as well as perhaps including more explicit instructions for how to troubleshoot if necessary.
Still, we had a really wonderful time and will highly recommend this property & similar ones to other friends and family who are planning to vacation in the area. Thank you so much!

Our group stayed at the Sycamore Mansion from May 17-21, 2017. I cannot say enough about the mansion with it's beautiful views and accommodations.
Only issues were the following for 5 days and 4 nights: 21 people, 2 packets of dishwasher detergent, each bath only had 1 tiny shampoo and 1 tiny bar of soap, not enough garbage bags or toilet paper. We ended up purchasing what we needed.
There were a couple of snags during the weekend, but maintenance took care of everything.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Mansion!

We had a great stay regardless of the 100 mph winds, lost power and fire up the road. The maintenance person ( James) provided a generator to help my sister in law keep her oxygen flowing when we lost power. He went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of . With the adverse conditions with the power being out, now water, no internet and no cable, we were well informed at all times and the crew did an excellent job of staying in contact with us. If possible, can you have Barbara contact me about next year. We would like to stay in a 10 bed room with a handicap room on the first floor. We stayed in the Sky in the Mansion the previous two years but it is no longer there. With 10 confirmed families we would like to make reservations but we can't afford the cabins that have more that 10 bed rooms. We want to come back for the 10th year of our trip but with young families the cost is a concern. Please let me know if we can work something out.

This was our 1st year staying in Sycamore Mansion but it was awesome as well.The cabin is so open and spacious. Barbara is awesome with helping me each year in choosing our cabin. Thanks for allowing 30 people to have a great weekend!!

Our Sunday School class had a couple's retreat at the Sycamore Mansion the first weekend in November. The cabin, which really is a mansion, was spotless and provided such a pleasant environment for us to be able to meet in. There is plenty of room for people to socialize, and the media room is great for our teaching sessions. Everyone loved it so much that we hope to be able to come back again next year!

We love Barbara!!! She is the absolute best to work with on reservations for a group.
The sycamore mansion was unbelievable! Perfect for a large group. Thought went into every bit of Decor and furnishings. We will definitely be back! It was exciting on our trip from Ohio when we noticed on the USA Today app in their travel section that this very spot was featured as the best large group rental in the state of Tennessee!
