Day 1 – Friday

After you get into Gatlinburg you may be ready to start seeing the sites right away. Waste no time as you see all of the fun and excitement in the area. Spend your evening with local favorite Ripley’s Believe It or Not Aquarium. This local attraction features a spacious aquarium that has plenty of loveable creatures such as colorful fish, sharks, rays, and much more. Take a walk through the underground water tunnel and see the fish swim by you! For dinner, grab some authentic Tennessee BBQ from Calhoun’s in Gatlinburg. They offer freshly smoked meats and plenty of delicious homestyle sides!

 

Day 2 – Saturday

The fun heads outdoors during the second day of your three-day weekend in Gatlinburg. Head to Anakeesta, a large family-friendly outdoor park that features a variety of attractions and activities. Guests will be able to take a walk on the Treetop Skywalk, go up to Anavista Tower, or ride the Chondola. Additional activities to add on can include gem mining, riding aboard the Rail Runner Mountain Coaster, or going on a thrilling zip line adventure. The park is huge and will take plenty of time to experience what there is to do. You can even find restaurants onsite. Grab a bite to eat from Smokehouse or Kephart Cart. As the evening winds down adults can visit Ole Smoky Moonshine to try out this Tennessee spirit.

 

Day 3 – Sunday

The final day of your voyage to Gatlinburg should be just as fun as the rest of your extended weekend. Enjoy a ride at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park where you can take a scenic chairlift up the mountains. Up here you can find the SkyBridge, one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world!
