If you and your family would like to participate in an Easter service, you will find that Ober Gatlinburg will be hosting their annual Sunrise Service again this year. This Easter event is one of the most popular activities that weekend and starts early at 6:30 AM. Visitors will want to make their way up to Ober Gatlinburg by taking the free tram ride that starts at 5:00 AM. Guests can also drive up to Ober as well if they wish to skip out on the tram ride. The sunrise will hit Ober Gatlinburg right as the service begins making it a memorable experience. Make sure to stick around at Seasons of Ober Restaurant after the sunrise service for their Easter brunch that offers plenty of delicious food.
Easter Eggstravaganza
Another annual event that is popular here in Gatlinburg is Easter Eggstravaganza hosted by Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. There is nothing better than the pairing of an Easter egg hunt with a vibrant aquarium. This event takes place on the Friday before Easter from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Activities that are included are games, arts and crafts, and even pictures with the Easter Bunny. A free scavenger hunt will take place at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies all weekend too in case you miss the big event.
Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show
Last but not least is the Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show here in Gatlinburg. This annual event will return from April 5th through the 8th for an incredible time.
