Dollywood in Pigeon Forge includes a wide range of things to see and do for all ages, including roller coasters, carnival-style rides, wildlife refuges and animal encounter shows, museums dedicated to the history of the area and Dolly Parton’s career, zip lines, and recreated historical items and sites related to Appalachian history. New rides and events continue to come to the park, so you can always count on seeing something different each time you go! Dollywood is open from mid-March until the end of December, with the exception of closing for certain days and holidays. The park is generally opens between 9:00am and 10:00am throughout most of the year, and closes between 7:00pm and 10:00pm; operating hours will depend on the season. Dollywood Splash Country is open during the months of mid-May through early September (around Labor Day). Be sure to check ahead of time to see if either side of the park will have any special closures or extended hours!
