What to Know About This Gatlinburg Activity

Zipline providers like Wahoo Ziplines in Gatlinburg will take you on a guided zipline tour of local forests. Harnessed to six different ziplines that span over two miles of cable, visitors careen at exhilarating speeds of forty miles per hour and heights ranging from forty to two hundred and fifty feet off of the ground, flying right alongside birds and other forest-dwelling creatures as they push off from platform to platform around the hillsides of Gatlinburg.

Visitors are first taught the safety and “how to” of ziplining, then can set off on their adventure after watching a demonstration. You’ll want to wear comfortable and sturdy closed-toe shoes, such as tennis shoes or hiking boots. Participants with long hair should pull it into a ponytail for safety reasons, and cameras are not allowed on tours.

Tours last two hours a piece and are given at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm on operating days.
