The fall season is in high gear and with it comes some wonderful events taking place here in Gatlinburg. Of course, no fall season would be complete without celebrating Halloween. This annual holiday is always a favorite among children and adults alike and Gatlinburg has plenty to offer in the fun and excitement. Take a look at why spending Halloween in Gatlinburg will be an exciting time for the whole family:

 Autumn at Anakeesta

You can find all kinds of fall seasonal fun along with Halloween activities when you stop by Autumn at Anakeesta. This award-winning park will be putting on its Hallow Mountain Event from September 16th through October 31 where you can find all kinds of Halloween décor all over the park. Adults can enjoy some delicious Bavarian beer in the Black Bear Village or catch the live music. Haunting colors of purple, orange, and green can be caught from every corner during your exploration. Enjoy this scenic park with a few spooky additions for the Hallow Mountain Event!

Great Pumpkin Luminights

Our neighbor of Pigeon Forge is just down the street and is home to Dollywood, a thrilling theme park designed and decorated after the icon Dolly Parton. Dollywood is in the middle of hosting its Dollywood Harvest Festival which takes place until October 29th for some fall-themed activities. One of the activities is the Great Pumpkin Luminights where the park is decorated with thousands of hand-carved pumpkins that are decorated for Halloween. The family-friendly environment offers a whimsical setting for plenty of fun and entertainment. The Great Pumpkin Luminights take place from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM every evening during the festival. Dollywood is typically busy on the weekends so seeing the Great Pumpkin Luminights Sunday through Thursday is always recommended.

Pigeon Forge Spooktacular

Enjoy a safe and non-scary trick or treating when you attend the Pigeon Forge Spooktacular. The Pigeon Forge Community Center will bring local vendors and businesses for a drive-thru trick-or-treating experience.
