What is the Titanic Museum?
The Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge is a museum attraction in Pigeon Forge that allows guests, or “passengers,” to see what life on the ship was like. You are able to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins, and the Grand Staircase of the Titanic while surrounded by more than 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers. As visitors touch a real iceberg, walk down the Grand Staircase, and reach their hands into a 28 degree water pool, they will be able to see what it was like to experience all the facets of the Titanic from launch to submersion.
What Does My Ticket Get Me?
Each guests will enter the ship with a one of a kind boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger or crew member. You will be able to feel the spirit of the passengers and crew in the galleries where over 400 personal and private artifacts are on display. Many of these artifacts are on display for the first time in the world. The entire collection is worth over four and a half million dollars. The entire tour is also self-guided, so you can go as fast or as slow as you like and really enjoy the museum to its fullest.
Along with the main tour, guests will be able to walk up and down the one-million- dollar replica of the Grand Staircase, touch an iceberg and feel 28 degree water, shovel “coal” into the Titanic’s boiler room, learn how to send an SOS distress signal, experience the sloping decks of the ship’s stern as she descended, sit in an actual size lifeboat and hear real passenger stories, take your kids to the Tot-Titanic, and discover your passenger’s fate in the Titanic Memorial Room.
