Offering a limited free taste of their treasures and free tours, Mountain Valley Winery can be an inexpensive activity, at least until you fall in love with their wine! Their focus is on sweet wines—Mountain Peach, Rhubarb, and Muscadine, just to mention a few—but they also sell Chardonnay and Cabernet for our guests whose palates prefer a drier tasting wine.
And because they care, every October they hold a special charity event with the proceeds going to breast cancer research. How great is it that you can drink some really excellent wine while doing a great deed?
