A Local Attraction Unlike Any Other

The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel is an enormous Ferris wheel where visitors can take in stunning views from a dazzling height. As you enjoy a gentle ride in one of the forty-two cozy, climate-controlled gondola with walls made of glass for uninterrupted views and seating for six riders, you can look out over Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most frequently visited national park in the entire country.

At night, the sights are particularly serene from atop the wheel, with the city lights of Pigeon Forge and nearby Gatlinburg twinkling in the distance. Even spectators watching the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel from the ground can enjoy a spectacle of lights, with the wheel playing host to a multi-colored light show constructed from 24,000 LED lights. Watch as the lights dance across the outstretched arms of the Ferris wheel.

Ticket prices for the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel cost between $9.00 for a children’s ticket for children ages three to eleven years old, to $14.00 for an adult ticket for riders ages twelve years and up. Discounts are available for seniors and military personnel.

You and your guests can enjoy several different extraordinary experiences during your ride on the wheel. The day and night combo ticket package for $20.00 allows you to ride during both parts of the day, absorbing the expansive views offered in two distinctly different experiences. VIP tickets, which cost $75.00 per gondola, enable riders to enjoy the views of the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel in supreme comfort, seating up to four guests in all-leather bucket seats with a glass bottom for unique viewing perspectives.

Rides on the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel last between eight and ten minutes long, encompassing four complete revolutions. The wheel operates non-stop from 10:00am to midnight every day of the year.
