Cabin Living at Its Finest
Your previous experiences with cabins might have been more than a little different than what you will find here in Gatlinburg. Although still charming and rustic in appearance, these are built for luxury and comfort, which is something we all want at the holidays. If you still feel the need to cook that Thanksgiving turkey, our kitchens are spacious, bright, and contain high end appliances that make cooking a fun event, not a dreaded chore. We will also provide all the dishes and cookware you need to set a fabulous table
Living areas are large enough to fit the entire family and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree will look amazing in front of the floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the Gatlinburg landscape; enjoy the scents of a live tree while sitting in front of a roaring fire playing games or watching Christmas movies on the big screen television, or feel cheered by the brightly colored lines shining through the window while you enjoy some hot mulled wine on the patio at night! Bedrooms are tranquil and serene, offering the perfect comfy beds for dreaming about sugared plums for kids or glasses of champagne for the adults that just can’t wait to celebrate the arrival of the new year! Our holiday rentals are designed for maximum enjoyment of ALL the holidays.
You can sit around the fireplace and open presents or toast marshmallows and enjoy hot chocolate around a firepit. You can post those holiday pictures on social media with use of the high speed wi-fi we provide. Many of our homes offer garage parking, which is important during this holiday season. We also offer homes with washers and dryers, so you won’t have to waste a minute driving around looking for a laundromat. We have homes with indoor pools and hot tubs as well as backyards where you can build your own snowman.

You can shop for gifts and souvenirs at the Great Smoky Mountain Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts show held November 20 through the 25th at the Gatlinburg Convention Center or enjoy a Turkey Day Feast from Apple Annie’s; eat it there or order it to go for a Thanksgiving celebration in the cabin. Christmas celebrations can include a trip on the Trolley Ride of Lights or a magical event we call Gatlinburg Winter Magic—the latter offers an environmentally friendly Christmas light display using LED lights and is held November 7th through January 26, 2019.
In addition to Christmas tree lights and trolley rides, Gatlinburg is famous for its dinner theater, and each theater company has a special holiday show. Sweet Fanny Adam’s Theater features a yuletide themed vaudeville show. You can join the cast in singing Christmas tunes and watch a very short version of, “A Christmas Carol.” Dolly Parton’s Stampede offers a full reenactment of the birth of Christ, complete with camel-riding kings and angels that look just like Dolly, descending from the sky. Just head Downtown for Gatlinburg Tunes and Tales nights, which take place on the four weekends in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Here you will see dancers, storytellers and musicians reenacting the days of Christmas past.
