About the Event
Show your support for Mother Earth via the Earth Day 5K Run/Walk. Put on your most comfortable pair of running and walking shoes and hit downtown Gatlinburg for a run that benefits your body as well the local community. This run/walk is for everyone-young and old. Participants are encouraged to register early so that they can receive an Earth Day 5K/Walk t-shirt and meet eligibility for digital door prizes. In addition to celebrating Earth Day, the proceeds from this 5K Run/Walk will go to the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation which is a non-profit that provides donations to local schools, local scholarships for students and the Gatlinburg Goes Green Program. This mighty Gatlinburg 5K race is for a good cause!
Gatlinburg 5K Race Details
This race will begin and end at the NOC Gatlinburg making way down the Parkway and through downtown Gatlinburg. All participants must submit registration in a timely manner and pay the applicable race fee in order to participate in the 5K/Walk.
Earth Week Activities
The Earth Day 5K Run/Walk is just one of several events marking Earth Week in Gatlinburg. Earth Week is April 21-April 27. Gatlinburg is a city that has always possessed an understanding of preserving nature.
