The Gatlinburg Ministerial Association invites everyone looking for Gatlinburg Easter to join them in worship and reflection at the Easter Sunrise Service at the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area. This service will take place atop Mt. Harrison. Free to all, this annual Easter service connects people of all walks of life for a moment of gratitude and reverence.
Early to Rise for a Gatlinburg Easter
Gatlinburg’s Annual Easter Sunrise Service is a memorable worship service frequented by both locals and visitors. Held atop of Mt. Harrison at Ober Gatlinburg, the view of the Smoky Mountains and the beautiful sunrise makes this an Easter Service that is deeply experienced. Local pastors of the Gatlinburg Ministerial Association will preside over the service which begins at 6:30 a.m. and last for about 30-40 minutes. All donations received during the service will be used to assist those in need.
Transportation & Weather
Ober Gatlinburg is hosting this year’s Easter Sunrise, and they will be providing reliable, consistent transportation to Mt. Harrison. Participants can be picked beginning at 5:30 a.m., and the free tram will operate every 15 minutes until the Sunrise Service begins at 6:30 a.m. Those that prefer to provide their own transportation up the mountain this Easter in Gatlinburg will have access to complimentary parking provided by Ober Gatlinburg. In a case of inclement weather, the Sunrise Service will be held around the ice rink at the Ober Gatlinburg Upper Tramway Mall.

After the Easter Sunrise Service, head on over to Ober Gatlinburg’s Restaurant for an affordable Easter buffet. The buffet price for adults is $9.95 and for children 10 and younger $5.95 excluding tax. Enjoy your Easter morning breakfast while reflecting on the Easter Sunrise Service.
